How do I become
a member of a Neighborhood Council?
The City of Tacoma defines a member of their respective Neighborhood
Council as: Any resident, business owner, employee, or property owner
within a neighborhood council area. In our case, that's the area defined
by the City as the North End Neighborhood. (See map above for a general

Why doesn't anyone
contact me and tell me about the meetings, or Council activities in
general?
We are making every attempt to help make people aware of the existence
and purpose of the Council. The Neighborhood Council system is relatively
new in our community. Please help us by telling your friends and neighbors
about this Council, and this web site.
The North End Neighborhood Council has an office at 3901 North 27th,
and the office may be reached at 253.759.2789. If you'd like to register
to receive notices that are sent from time-to-time by email please give
us a call, or email comments by clicking
here.
Please understand that the Council has a very limited budget, and we
are searching for ways to communicate news and items of interest
effectively with all of the members of our Council district within that
budget. This web site is among the most cost-effective of those efforts
to keep our members informed.
